How Dehumidification Works
The operation of the dehumidifier is based on two counter current air streams flowing through its high performance desiccant wheel. Return air from the conditioned space is drawn through the rotating wheel. The desiccant adsorbs moisture from the air stream and returns the dried air back to the conditioned space. As the wheel rotates into the regeneration section, heated outdoor air removes the moisture from the desiccant surface, which is then exhausted to the outside.
